The Summer Garden
Summer is the peak season for the estate’s gardens. All the borders, both formal and informal, and the roses are at their peak and the kitchen garden is at maximum production.
A notable feature is Rosehenge – an aged cherry tree surrounded by oak posts supporting a Rambling Rector rambling rose variety.

Unusual Specimens
The gardens showcase unusual specimens adapted to Norfolk’s climate, including dregea sinensis, abeliophyllum distichum, colquhonia coccinea vestita, lespedeza thunbergii, and indigofera amblyantha.
Specific rose varieties include rosa forrestiana, rosa omiensis pteracantha, and rosa complicata.
