The Winter Garden
The Winter Garden showcases early-season botanical displays across multiple locations. Snowdrops and aconites carpet the woodland garden and surrounding woods, including Groom’s Wood near St Andrew’s Church in East Lexham and the American Gardens beyond the lake.
Yew and box hedges provide winter form and structure throughout the garden.

Scented Winter Shrubs
The garden features winter-interest plantings strategically chosen to provide colour and fragrance during colder months, including:
Viburnums, sarcococca, mahonia, lonicera fragrantissima, hamamelis, azara microphylla, daphnes, coronilla glauca, cornus Winter Beauty, chimonanthus praecox, and stachyurus praecox.
