Steps lead down to terrace path flanked by small borders, leading off the main terrace where plants are both planted and where controlled self seeding is allowed.

Rose border established in 1996; includes recently planted laburnum arch.

Sheltered refreshment area for large groups.

D - Mixed Borders
Features climbing roses and Rambling Rector on Rosehenge.

E - Long Walk
Boundary between herbaceous borders and spring-flowering acid-loving shrubs.

F - Kitchen Garden
Traditional vegetables, fruits, and cutting border with crinkle crankle wall.

G - Late Summer Borders
First planted in 1996, these mixed borders are planted to reach their peak in late summer.

H - Dome Borders
2010 planting with wisteria-covered iron dome focal point.

I - Swimming Pool Garden
Enclosed by yew hedges.

J - Urn Garden
Four urns with nepeta and lavender.

K - Shrubbery
Rhododendrons, azaleas, magnolias, bog garden, and developing wildflower area.

L - Woodland Garden
5 acres of rhododendrons, azaleas, camellias, magnolias, candelabra primulas and fine trees.

M - Victorian Summerhouse
Restored in 1994; won Norfolk Society award in 1996.
